Rest on top of the mountain and enjoy the Grand Views at Smoky Ridge! A few minutes from the Northern Access of Lake Glenville, this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home has a galley-style floor plan with large windows designed for views in every room.
Although it is new to the rental market, Grand View has a healthy history of cherished family memories. Christmas trees planted by the owner as a child now tower along the side of the valley, and the decorations inside the house have been collected from the many places they've traveled over the years.
Vintage woodstoves are featured in several areas of the home: The eat-in Kitchen and Dining room that serve as focal points at the center of the home, as well as each of the 2 family rooms that provide space for cozy gatherings or personal relaxation.
The 2 bedrooms at the far end of the home both have King beds and their own attached bathroom.
Additional sleep space is sleeper sofa in "common area" living room off kitchen side (pocket doors for privacy).
Updated in Spring 2024: A 2200 sq. foot wrap-around deck featuring an open space to enjoy the view with plenty of lounge chairs. It also includes a large covered portion with a stone woodburning fireplace, comfortable seating, a gas grill and of course a flatscreen TV for the utmost outdoor enjoyment either with or without the sun.
All of this just minutes from Lake Glenville, in close proximity to several mountain towns (10 miles to Cashiers crossroads, 17 miles to Sapphire, and 16 miles to Downtown Highlands), as well as the many hiking trails that surround the area in the Beautiful Smoky Mountains of North Carolina!

[All of the homes managed by Cashiers Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

by Brittany FWe can not say enough good things about this beautiful home and location. The outdoor space was more than we could have imagined. The deck has comfy seating and everything is planned for with a large TV and awesome outdoor fireplace (which we enjoyed every night). Inside was everything we needed for a perfect vacation. All kitchen items you could desire, plenty of towels and blankets and comfy beds. We were sad to leave but hope that it won’t be our last visit.
